Mushing a team of huskies under the northern lights has to be one of the most memorable experiences possible in Alaska. The lights can appear in a variety of forms such as arcs or drapes of light. Colors range from red to yellow to green to purple, all of which can appear to dance across the sky. Aurora displays peak in the spring and fall but are also seen on dark winter nights, bringing cheer and wonder to those who are waiting for spring.
