My name is Emma Henze-Nelson and I am a special education teacher and photographer from Fairbanks, Alaska. I am a mother of two with my awesome husband. I was born and raised in Fairbanks and fell in love with photography when my father taught me how to take photos on a film camera in high school. I enjoy macro photography and taking photos of animals in a way that helps the viewer feel more connected to them. I love traveling with my father around Alaska to get these images.
