Athabascan Artistry

The Athabascan people are one of the five major cultural groups of Alaska Natives. Their traditional territory stretches from the Bristol Bay and Southcentral regions of Alaska to deep in the Interior and lower Arctic. This still life acrylic painting celebrates the beauty of traditional Athabascan handicrafts including baskets, moccasins, and beadwork.
