Tribute to Sled Dogs
For over forty years, dog mushing has been a part of Jon Van Zyle’s life. He ran the Iditarod twice, was made the official Iditarod artist in 1979, and to this day still maintains a small number of sled dogs at his homestead in Southcentral Alaska. This painting was a tribute to the many dogs that have been a part of his life through the years.
Printed in Alaska on matte paper that meets the Sustainable Forest Initiative guidelines that promote responsible management of the world’s forests.
