Triple Trouble
Double-matted card with custom accent cutout

Female brown bears typically have one or two cubs at a time, although triplets or even quadruplets can occasionally occur. Cubs are born during the winter while the mother hibernates in her den. Keeping a brood of rambunctious cubs is a full time and stressful job for a single mother. Males can be a threat and have been known to kill cubs, especially around popular fishing holes.
