Eskimo Artistry

The Yup’ik people are one of the five major cultural groups of Alaska Natives. Their traditional territory stretches from the Bristol Bay region of the Southwest and up along the Bering Sea coast to Unalakleet. The Yup’ik and Inupiat people have collectively been called Eskimo through history, and many elders still use that term today. This still life acrylic painting celebrates the beauty of traditional Yup’ik items such as baskets, masks, dolls, and ivory carvings.

Printed in Alaska on matte paper that meets the Sustainable Forest Initiative guidelines that promote responsible management of the world’s forests.
