Tongass National Forest, Alaska
A black bear sow checks in with her cubs to make sure they are safe before heading down to the stream to catch a meal at the Anan Wildlife Observator in Tongass National Forest near Wrangell, Alaska. Fishing for salmon is essential for her own survival as well as her cubs, but also perilous if there are any nearby boars (male bears) who might kill the cubs.
Printed in Alaska on matte paper that meets the Sustainable Forest Initiative guidelines that promote responsible management of the world’s forest.
