Cathy’s passion for the outdoors is captured in her images of people, wildlife, and wild places in Alaska and throughout the world. Whether it is a Borneo Orangutan or a Denali wolf her images capture the life of the moment. Cathy leads photography trips in Alaska and Brazil. Her favorite subject is bears.
Cathy has been living in Alaska since 1966. Her passion for photography started when she received her first camera for high school graduation from her dad. Her main passion is wildlife photography and nature, but she loves to shoot anything that moves. She loves shooting from her sea kayak and white-water raft.
Cathy has been published in many publications and her images are represented by Design Pics and AlaskaStock. She serves on the board of Directors for the Alaska Society of Outdoor and Nature Photographers. Cathy lives in Anchorage with her husband Eric and her dog Ruu.
