Interest in photography and nature started very early for me while growing up in rural California. It was moving to Alaska several decades ago that lit the flame.  Then the transition from analog to digital created even more incentive.  While I enjoy making images of megafauna as much as anyone, I gravitate even more to small, intimate subjects, and this huge state offers infinite opportunities.
