Ray Bulson,

Eagle River, Alaska.

As a nature lover, Alaska has been a lifelong dream of mine.  My first visit was in 2000 to Gates of the Arctic and Denali National Parks.  I remember being mesmerized by the sights outside the airplane window during the flight to Anchorage.  Sensing my excitement, an Alaskan resident sitting next to me said that Alaska gets in your blood and that I would return.  He was right.  After a 25-year career in engineering, I moved to Alaska in 2006 to pursue my passion for nature photography.  Now a full-time photographer, I offer stock imagery, fine art prints and calendars, and provide photographic instruction through classroom and field workshops, and on-line webinars.  I was president of the Alaska Society of Outdoor and Nature Photographers from 2015-17.
