The aurora borealis, or northern lights, can appear in a variety of forms such as arcs or drapes of light. Colors include reds, greens, purples, and yellows, all of which can seem to dance across the sky. Aurora displays peak in the spring and fall but is also seen on dark winter nights, bringing cheer and wonder to those waiting for spring.
